02 Second Order/Presence Conditions/Produced Distinctions/Difference
Difference
Difference names distinguishable non-sameness. Where asymmetry names uneven relation before it is localised, difference names the produced read — asymmetry becoming readable as this rather than that. Difference does not name opposition or conflict; it names the condition through which two things can be read as not the same while remaining related.
Trace
Read
Difference becomes recognisable where relation can be read as this rather than that — where non-sameness is present and readable rather than merely implied.
