01 First Order/Asymmetry Conditions/Emergent Condition
Emergent Condition
Emergent condition names the class of first-order conditions that arise from within relation through asymmetry rather than being established by operations. Where operations act on distinction, emergent conditions name what becomes available prior to those acts — the conditions that make operations possible. Asymmetry, bounded asymmetry, strained asymmetry, resolved asymmetry, and emergence are all emergent conditions.

Emergent condition becomes recognisable where a term names something that arises from relation through asymmetry rather than something that acts upon or localises distinction.
