03 Third Order/Fields/Relational Participation/Bearing Relations/Relationship
Relationship
Relationship names relation held as a carried, coupled participation. It is not relation by itself; it is relation given a shared boundary-form through which participants can bear on each other, maintain contact, repair, loosen, or decouple.
The "ship" read is structural rather than etymological: relationship is relation carried in a held form.
Trace
Read
Relationship becomes recognisable where relation is held through a coupled boundary and recurring participation so that what happens between participants can be carried, strained, protected, repaired, loosened, or lost as a shared condition.
Placement Mode
Field: Relational Participation Field
Primary mode: Caring
Secondary modes: Sustaining, Exchanging, Communicating
Relationship is primarily placed by caring where relation is held as a shared condition that must bear, remain available, and be maintained enough to continue.
Structural Role
Relationship is a third-order bearing-relations read. It applies the second-order structure of coupled boundary and bearing relation inside relational participation without making relationship a root condition.
