03 Third Order / Branch
Branch
A Branch names a dependency path through participation. A branch is not a category, topic, or collection of related notes. It is a traceable path through what a field or domain depends on, carries, and opens. Branches can occur within Organic Fields, within Organised Domains, or across the relation between them.
Trace
Read
A Branch becomes recognisable where terms can be followed as a dependency path rather than as a loose collection. A branch remains readable only while its path can be retraced through the dependencies that carry it.
Structural Role
Branch is a third-order path role. It is not a topic cluster; it is the retraceable dependency path through a field, domain, or their crossing.
