03 Third Order/Applied Diagnosis/Diagnosis
Diagnosis
Diagnosis names an applied read that traces an unresolved condition back through dependency order to locate where readability, carrying, or resolution has become unavailable.
Trace
- Applied Read supplies local use of RM structure.
- Structural Disorder supplies loss of dependency readability.
- Dependency Order supplies the path through which the unresolved condition can be retraced.
- Closure Scope supplies the evaluated scope.
Read
Diagnosis is readable where an unresolved condition is traced by asking what asymmetry is present, where it can be bounded, what order unfolds, and whether resolution determines coupling, recurrence, release, collapse, or return to Structural Disorder.
Placement Mode
Field: Knowledge Field
Primary mode: Knowing
Secondary modes: Sensing, Caring, Governing
Diagnosis is primarily placed by knowing: an unresolved condition is traced through dependency order so the unavailable point of readability, carrying, or resolution can be located.
Order Trace
First: Structural Disorder, Order, and Natural Order supply the path from unresolved condition toward readable resolution.
Second: Closure Scope makes the unavailable point evaluable at a local scope.
Third: Diagnosis applies that trace inside the Knowledge Field to locate where readability, carrying, or resolution has become unavailable.
Applied Scope
Diagnosis is an applied third-order read. It does not define disorder, order, natural order, or closure scope; it uses dependency order inside a bounded scope to locate where readability, carrying, or resolution has become unavailable.

Diagnostic Movement
unresolved condition
→ read as disorder
→ locate asymmetry
→ bound locally
→ follow natural order
→ check whether resolution determines coupling, recurrence, release, collapse, or return to disorder
