00 Ground / Structural Disorder

Structural Disorder

Structural disorder names loss of dependency readability within the system. Where order names dependency readability and dependency order names structural precedence, structural disorder names the condition through which that readability becomes unavailable — dependency structure hidden, interrupted, displaced, bypassed, or forced. Structural disorder does not name evil, failure, immorality, disagreement, difference, or absence of structure. A condition may be highly active, complex, or organised and still be structurally disordered. Structural disorder is determined by loss of readable dependency structure, not by appearance of complexity.

Trace

Read

Structural disorder becomes recognisable where terms can no longer be reliably traced through the conditions that make them available — where the dependency path is present but unreadable.
