99 Atlas Practice / Atlas Note Standard

Atlas Note Standard

Atlas Note Standard names the placement standard a note must meet to belong in the Atlas.

An Atlas note is a mapped position in the Atlas. The standard is not a mechanical form; it is the consistent placement pattern that lets humans and AI map, compare, revise, ground, and retrace notes.

Trace

Read

Atlas Note Standard becomes recognisable where a note can be placed, compared, revised, grounded, and retraced without treating the form as a mechanical template.

Standard

State what the term is and what structural role it performs directly under the title.

Trace lists only the direct prior condition or small direct dependency set required for the term to hold.

Trace points backward through direct dependency.

Keep trace to immediate support. Do not lazily trace back to root terms when a nearer support is doing the bearing.

State how the term becomes recognisable.

Read names the local recognisable condition of the term.

Name what becomes available through the term. Opens should lead only to existing terms that the note actually makes available.

Work backward from higher order to confirm availability is grounded in the structure, not prediction or speculation.

Every grounded note must remain retraceable through its trace path.
