02 Second Order/Readability Conditions/Recognition Read
Recognition Read
Recognition Read names a read becoming identifiable as this again. Where readability names the condition that makes reading possible, recognition read names the produced read through which something is identified as the same condition encountered before — this participant, this pattern, this state. Recognition read does not require perfect repetition; it names the condition through which a read can be held as identifiable across instances.
Trace
Read
Recognition Read becomes recognisable where a read can be held as this again — where what is present can be identified as the same condition that held before.
Structural Role
Recognition at Second Order is a produced readability condition. It identifies recurrence as this again; it does not yet name the higher-order coherence between derivation and direct observation.
