Bearing

Bearing names strain held as a readable condition. Where strain names available distinction under contrast, bearing names that same contrast held — sustained without collapsing or dissipating. Bearing does not yet name carrying, coupling, or outcome. It names the held strain through which resolution becomes available.

Structural Role

Bearing is a first-order root condition. Its high connectivity comes from load-bearing dependency: many later reads require strain to be held before it can resolve as hold, failure, yield, release, transfer, absorption, carrying, closure, or repair.
