02 Second Order / Carrying

Carrying

Carrying names the continuation of a resolved condition through participation. Where resolution names bearing determined at the current scope, carrying names what happens next โ€” the determined condition sustained and moved forward into further participation. Carrying does not produce new relation; it continues what resolution has made available. What is carried may be further strained, re-resolved, or brought into a new condition.

Trace

Read

Carrying becomes recognisable where a resolved condition continues to participate beyond the scope at which it was determined โ€” where something resolved is not merely finished but taken forward.

Structural Role

Carrying is a second-order root condition. It is order-bearing for second-order participation because it continues resolution into later conditions rather than only checking whether passage is allowed.
